COURSE OVERVIEW
Basic Occupational First Aid, CPR & AED Program is designed to help the learner about the importance of first aider. On the completion of the course, it allowed us to do basic first aid in workplace injuries before any qualified person arrived. The element of team bonding will help to create more efficient first aid to the casualties.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of session, Learner will:
Become a qualified first aider compliance to Occupational & Health Act 1994.
Able to perform CPR using the DR-CAB for adult, children & infant.
Able to perform Heimlich Maneuver or Abdominal Thrust to relives choking victim for adult
children & infant.
Able to identify the sign & symptom and provide early care for sudden illness such as heart
attack, seizure, asthma & stroke.
Learner will be able to use & describe the importance of an Automated External Defibrillator
(AED)
Able to help victim with burn casualties and care for burn.
Able to recognise internal and external bleeding & describe how to care for internal and external
bleeding.
Able to recognise the cause (mechanism) of the muscular skeletal injury and care for musculoskeletal victim.

80% of Attendance in the Class
Pass BLS Skill Assessment
Pass Objective Based Assessment
Pass Hands-On Drill Assessment
Certificate will be issued within 21 working days after the completion of the course.
