COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is specifically designed to introduce ERT Team members to the duties and responsibilities of a Fire Fighting Team, as well as to provide them with the necessary skills in fire safety, prevention, and risk assessment. This course teaches students about the dangers of fire, how to use fire extinguishers, and how to carry out f ire routine procedures. The training also assists employers in developing emergency response plans that are tailored to their specific needs. This program prepares ERT members to deal with a variety of emergencies by developing an Emergency Response Plan (ERP), understanding emergency procedures, and carrying them out during a disaster.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Understand the various types of fire extinguishers
Promptly demonstrate the use of the fire extinguisher.
Demonstrate their ability to safely and effectively manage small fires.
Plan and prepare effective emergency plans
Develop the hierarchy of commands
Understand Evacuation & Emergency response procedures
Lead and contribute directly in the event of emergency
CERTIFICATION & VALIDITY
Participants who complete the course will be awarded a Certificate of Training. Without retraining, knowledge may be forgotten, and skills may deteriorate quickly if not used or practiced. As a result,yearly retraining is highly recommended.
Certificate will be issued within 21 working days after the completion of the course.
