COURSE OVERVIEW
Emergencies and natural disasters can strike at any time and without warning. The better a company is prepared for an emergency, the better it will be able to act, reducing panic and confusion when one occurs. The goal of this training is to assist employers in developing emergency response plans that are tailored to their specific needs. This program prepares ERT members to deal with a variety of emergencies by developing an emergency response plan (ERP), understanding emergency procedures, and implementing an incident command system (ICS) during a disaster.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Members of the Fire Team, Fire Wardens, and the Safety and Health Committee
Members of the Emergency Response Team
Individuals involved in fire routine procedure
For all employees up to and including supervisory level who would be required to assist in the event of a fire.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Create effective emergency plans.
Create the command hierarchy.
Understand the procedures for evacuation and emergency response.
In the event of an emergency, take the lead and make a direct contribution.
CERTIFICATION & VALIDITY
Participants who complete the course will be awarded a Certificate of Training. Without retraining, knowledge may be forgotten, and skills may deteriorate quickly if not used or practiced. As a result, yearly retraining is highly recommended.
Certificate will be issued within 21 working days after the completion of the course.
